Role: Experienced Social Care Recruiter
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full end-to-end recruitment cycle independently, from sourcing and interviewing to compliance clearance and onboarding.
• Proactively source and secure staffing requirements from local authorities, other boroughs, private clients, supported living services, and care homes.
• Liaise confidently with brokerage teams, commissioners, and service providers to identify live vacancies and upcoming staffing needs.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to convert enquiries into active placements and consistently fill vacancies.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure suitability, reliability, and compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards.
• Ensure all candidates meet safer recruitment requirements, right-to-work checks, DBS clearance, references, and training compliance.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of compliant care staff available for immediate deployment.
• Work confidently with recruitment systems, staffing portals, and local authority platforms.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all recruitment processes meet regulatory and audit standards.
• Manage multiple vacancies across different boroughs while working to strict deadlines and targets.
Essential Requirements – Experienced Candidates Only
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in social care recruitment (agency or provider side).
• Strong working knowledge of local authority frameworks and brokerage systems.
• Proven track record of successfully filling care vacancies and securing staffing requirements.
• Excellent understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and compliance processes.
• Experience recruiting for domiciliary care, supported living, or temporary care staffing.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage high-volume recruitment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment/database systems.
Working Hours
Office-based role: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm.
