Job Description:
Overview:
Masstemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, well established manufacturing company based in Dudley. Due to an extremely busy order book, we are looking to add an experienced fabricator welder to the team.
Responsibilities:
• MIG welding of structural steel, to an accurate and high standard
• Fabricating - working from complex engineering drawings
• Welding multi runs
• Moving steel - operating an overhead crane
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Inspect completed welds for quality assurance and compliance with specifications
Requirements:
• You must be an experienced MIG Welder - specifically welding structural steel
• You must be a skilled fabricator
• Experience welding girders, beams etc.
• Ability to weld multi runs
• Overhead crane experience
On offer:
• Fixed night shift: 6pm-6am Monday to Thursday
• £18.50 per hr
