We are currently working with a school in the Calderdale area who are looking to recruit a Teacher of English to work to start ASAP and work until the end of the academic year. The school caters for students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs and range in age between 8 and 16 years old. This is a part time role, working 4 days per week and has the potential to become a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons for SEND students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and progress
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
- Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback to aid development
- Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to pastoral care and extracurricular activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, SCITT, etc.)
- Recent teaching experience in UK primary schools
- Experience delivering lessons to children with a range of SEND
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Completed Level 1 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete online)
- Legal right to work in the UK
