Thrive Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Inclusive Learning Support Assistants to join a dedicated specialist school supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.
This is an opportunity to be part of a close-knit, highly supportive team where every member plays a vital role in helping learners achieve meaningful and personalised outcomes.
As an Inclusive Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide support to pupils both within the classroom and during wider school activities
- Assist in delivering individual learning programmes (IEPs/EHCPs)
- Implement differentiated strategies to meet a range of learning needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external professionals
- Support pupils with personal care and daily routines, where required
- Encourage independence, communication, and emotional regulation
- Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Calm, patient, and adaptable
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
- Positive, resilient, and able to build trusting relationships
- Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Committed to inclusive education and safeguarding
- A thorough induction programme
- Access to ongoing CPD and specialist SEN training
- Clear progression routes within the organisation
- A welcoming and collaborative school environment
