What skills and experience we're looking for

The academy is looking for someone who has:

- A strong work ethic and a passion for creative and academic learning.

- A strong desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.

- Experience of teaching Media Studies and/or Media Production at secondary or post-16 level.

- The ability to deliver both theoretical and practical elements of media education.

- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for contemporary media and industry developments.

- High expectations for student behaviour, progress ability to assess, track, and support student progress effectively.

- A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.

- The skills and qualities outlined in the person specification.

- An excellent record of attendance and punctuality.

This role is suitable for an ECT or more experienced teacher, as we can offer the experience and support to help you develop and further your career.
