Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to build a powerful digital presence that reflects our halal standards, product quality, and customer-first approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing local PR and social media strategies across various social platforms) to promote our meat products and engage with our audience of local customers and the wider community.
Main duties include:
• Develop and execute a social media and local PR strategy aligned with RYK Halal’s growth into wholesale and retail-ready halal poultry cuts.
• Strengthen local PR by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., local retailers, butchers, restaurants/caterers, community organisations, and business networks) to increase awareness and trust.
• Produce and publish high-quality content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Short.
• Capture content from operations where possible while respecting food safety and confidentiality.
• Manage comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and convert inbound queries into leads/orders via defined escalation workflows (sales/operations).
• Support local PR and marketing activities by participating in local and online events while promoting seasonal offers and promotions.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in digital marketing or managing in a similar field.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Knowledge of social media tools and ad management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
