Crynodeb
Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing ER
administration in Retail. Working as part of the People Advice team you will
provide support and guidance and case management to ensure absence,
disciplinary, performance and grievance matters are dealt with in a timely and
proactive manner.
You’ll support the People Advice team with administration, collating
information to support with identifying training needs as well as identifying
key trends and developing the right support materials to prevent issues
re-occurring.
You’ll ensure all case administration meets the high standards ready for any
future conciliation or tribunal cases. You will support the People Advice team
with development of Policies and Procedures ensuring the administration,
collation and communication is effective. You’ll share and seek best practice
within the People Advice team, and you’ll feed back into your People Advisor.
You’ll also proactively feed any themes or areas you’ve identified through your
support of these cases to your People Advisor. You’ll keep up to date with
current employment legislation.
This is a 12 month FTC.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Supporting your People Advisor and Managers to resolve employee relations enquiries
- Build strong relationships within the People Advisor team and wider People teams, reinforcing the importance of the team’s credibility
- Ensure case management administration is efficient
- Engaging the PBP’s to manage cases through to a quick resolution
- Become the go to expert and ensure we consistently embed best practice
- Provide regular updates to the Senior People Manager on information collated
- Proactively support projects in ER and Retail
- Proactively supporting wellbeing initiatives
- Manage the process, scanning and storage of management files
- Maintaining accurate records and keeping case files up to the required standard
- Interpreting data, looking at solutions and being able to present and communicate this to key colleagues
- Work with IT to understand how systems and technology can support our overall people strategy and looking at ways of efficiencies

- Be an experienced HR Generalist in a fast pace multi-site environment
- Demonstrate experience in managing ER issues and have a proven track record in case management.
- To be able to influence great outcomes and challenge managers appropriately.
