Crynodeb
We are looking for an enthusiastic registered CT Radiographer, for a 12-month maternity cover, to work in close conjunction with the CT Operational Lead Radiographers, CT Modality Lead and the wider team at our CT unit at Mile End Hospital which is part of the Community Diagnostics Centre.
Potential candidates should preferably have at least two years' experience of working within CT and have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.
You will be working on a rota basis within the CT team covering 12-hour days, 08:00-20:00, Monday to Sunday.
The centre is equipped with a GE Revolution Evo, a Siemens Somatom go.Top CT scanner. We have also recently opened a state-of-the-art Siemens Naeotom Alpha CT scanner providing advanced photon-counting spectral imaging capabilities.
We will be providing a service to a wide range of cancer, urgent, rheumatology and routine outpatients across North-East of London. In this role, it is essential to have good organisational skills, good working relationships and be motivated and able to demonstrate how you can motivate others within the team.

The post-holder will participate in the effective running of the CT department under the direction of the senior staff, ensuring delivery of high quality patient care. In liaison with the senior radiographers the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students and assistant practitioners.
