£30,000 – £32,000
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Service Controller to join their busy Service Department in Farnham.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of the depot — coordinating engineers, managing breakdowns, and ensuring customers receive a responsive, professional service that minimises downtime.

The Role
As Service Controller, you’ll be responsible for coordinating service engineers within your allocated depot and acting as the key communication link between customers and the service team.

You will:
• Coordinate breakdowns and servicing jobs, allocating engineers efficiently
• Maintain consistent communication with customers on live cases
• Log breakdowns and manage incoming service calls
• Process engineer timesheets daily
• Create and issue estimates within 24 hours when additional work is identified
• Send final costings and invoice completed retail work
• Manage WIP and resolve invoice queries
• Arrange cross-hire machines where required (Health & Safety compliance)
• Actively seek new business opportunities
• Support other depot diaries during peak or holiday periods
• Contribute positively to team performance and company success

This role reports directly to the Service Supervisor and plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused
• Confident managing multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines

Experience within a service coordination, engineering, plant, automotive, or similar environment would be advantageous.
