Key Account Manager – CD S&S
Northern Region – M62 Corridor / Yorkshire & Teeside
Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our high performing CD S&S Sales Team. The territory will be geographically spread along the M62 corridor (weighted towards Yorkshire) and Teeside, reporting into Sales Management. The objective of the role will be to profitably grow Sales, through professional Account Management and proactive selling into an existing customer base, while working in conjunction with our Internal Sales and Customer Service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain valued customer relationships
Build and deliver a Self-Determined Growth plan
Achieve agreed Sales GP and Volume budgets
Key Tasks
Promoting our value proposition to all customers as a platform for growth
Development and delivery of a credible sales pipeline
Growing the diversity and depth of our relationships with customers
To understand and keep abreast of industry and market trends.
Deliver business reporting as required in both excel and business systems.
Working with internal sales teams and Corporate Accounts as required
What We Are Looking For
You should demonstrate a drive and passion for sales and customers development while being naturally industrious and organised. It is essential that you are able to work effectively within all levels of an organisation and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task and, crucially, be prepared to take ownership and meaningful action. As a true sales professional you will be positive and inquisitive by nature, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to develop relationships, positively influence both customers and colleagues and know how to close a sale. The need for strong business acumen and a proven sales or commercial or equivalent track record are essential for this role.
A background in the chemical sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
