Atlas Camps are looking for experienced individuals with a passion for working with children to join our team for 2026. Our camps are incredibly diverse, offering a wide range of activities to children aged 3 – 14 years. Activities include: football, tennis, dodgeball, arts and crafts, talent shows, mini games and lots more… We have something for every child to enjoy.
Our team is ever-growing and evolving, with each and every one of the Atlas Camps staff bringing unique and brilliant skills to every camp.
We are now looking for people with a background in an EYFS setting to become Assistant Camp Managers in the Gloucester area.
The type of person we are looking for will have the following skills:
A passion for with children
Strong organisational skills
The ability to make decisions
Show commitment and loyalty to our ever-developing brand
Demonstrate good time management skills
Be personable and approachable
Be a great team player
Have excellent verbal communication skills
Show experience of strong working relationships with both senior and junior staff
Be driven and motivated to add value to Atlas
Experience in an EYFS setting.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting the day-to-day operations at camp
Leading activities
Working with your team of coaches
Liaising with SLT
‘Meet and greet’ for parents and children
Knowing your children
Engaging with all children
Knowing our policies and keeping them up to date
Guiding other members of the team
Planning the structure of the day
Managing all equipment suitably
Focusing on the children within the EYFS framework.

Previous experience in childcare or education is required for this role. We offer full training prior to your first camp.
