About the Role:
We are looking for a fun, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our friendly team in our Before & After School Club and Holiday Club. You will help create exciting, safe and nurturing experiences for children, with a special responsibility for our preschool-aged and reception children as their Key Person.
This is a term-time role with required availability during Easter and Summer holidays.
Your Role Will Include
Key Person Responsibilities (Preschool Children)
Be the Key Person for preschool and reception aged children, building warm, trusting relationships.
Support children’s emotional wellbeing, confidence and development through play and care.
Observe, support and celebrate children’s progress in line with the EYFS.
Play & Learning
Plan and lead fun, creative and engaging activities (arts & crafts, outdoor play, games, messy play, role play and more!).
Follow children’s interests and turn everyday moments into learning adventures.
Help children feel safe, happy and excited to attend club.
Care, Safety & Wellbeing
Keep children safe, supervised and supported at all times.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies.
Support children with personal care where required.
Prepare and serve healthy snacks and drinks.
Teamwork & Communication
Work positively as part of a supportive team.
Communicate professionally with parents and carers.
Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas for activities and improvements.
Working Hours
16 hours over Term Time (Monday – Friday)
Morning: 7:15am – 9:00am & Afternoon: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Flexible days available.
Holiday Club
Easter & Summer Holidays: availability required between 8:00am – 6:00pm
February, May & October: overtime hours available
