Crynodeb
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time temp to perm Low Pressure Die Caster to join a busy and expanding company based in the Wednesbury area.
Duties and responsibilities include:
. Monitor machine functions to ensure consistent casting quality.
. Set up and operate low pressure die casting equipment.
. Preheat, coat, and assemble moulds before casting.
. Change and maintain moulds as required.
. Control molten aluminium flow into the die using low-pressure systems.
. Ensure correct temperature and pressure settings.
. Visually inspect cast parts for defects like porosity, cracks, or incomplete fills.
. Use measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers) for dimensional checks.
. Remove excess material or flash from cast parts using tools or machines.
. Prepare parts for further processing or dispatch.
. Perform basic machine maintenance.
. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
. Complete production records, quality checklists, and machine logs.
HOURS
• Monday to Wednesday: 06:00am – 16:00pm
• Thursday: 06:00am – 14:00pm
PAY RATE
• Between £13 - £15ph dependant on experience.
