Job Overview:Be part of a fast‑paced, cleanroom manufacturing environment in Paisley, assembling medical‑use components while following SOPs, GMP and strict quality/safety standards. You'll work collaboratively across shifts, support Lean PPI initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation and product conformance.
- Location: UK - Paisley (On‑site), PA4 9RE
- Daily Rate: £12.65 per hour
- Contract Length: 9 months
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually assemble tubing, connectors and bags to medical specifications using SOPs and product blueprints.
- Read/interpret manufacturing drawings; measure and build to customer requirements (tape‑measure use).
- Record accurate production and quality data in line with GMP.
- Perform visual inspection on in‑process and finished goods; escalate issues promptly.
- Drive safety and quality in all tasks and support Lean Practical Process Improvement (PPI).
- Collaborate within a fast‑paced team across shifts; support changeovers and clear handovers.
- Upload/maintain any required batch or device records per site procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a similar processing/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow SOPs/work instructions; strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Reliability: strong attendance, punctuality, and flexibility on shifts/overtime.
- Clear communication for shift handoffs and early escalation of issues; strong teamwork.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and using hand tools; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Secondary Education / Advanced Certificate (or equivalent).
Additional Information:
- Hours/Week: 37.5
- Environment: Controlled cleanroom (8-12‑hour shifts), PPE/gowning required (gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, safety glasses; no jewellery/makeup).
