JOB TITLE: Healthcare Assistant
LOCATION: London
CONTRACT: Zero hours
SHIFT PATTERN: as per business needs
PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour

We are looking for experienced, confident and reliable Healthcare Assistants. You will need good communication skills and the ability to work in a variety of healthcare settings providing advanced notice and short notice cover.
As an Healthcare Assistant at Scoutquest you will play a vital role in maintaining a good relationship with the client and safe environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our facilities meet and exceed expectations. We are committed to delivering facility solutions that are customized for the distinct needs of every site, and as an Healthcare Assistant, you play a crucial role in making this happen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist clients with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans.
• Deliver high-quality personal and elderly care
• Ability to uses own initiative, plan own work and prioritise a patient’s care needs, Ability to work without direct supervision, Ability to work within a team, good communication skills, Motivated to learn, maintains a mature attitude, Possesses a responsible attitude.
• Knowledge of care giving, has an empathy and understanding of issues encountered by patients with care needs.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility)
• Support residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity
• Follow CQC, safeguarding, and infection control standards
• Ability to travel to varying work locations during unsocial hours.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Care Assistant / HCA
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Mandatory training (Moving & Handling, Safeguarding, )
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
