Job Overview
We are recruiting reliable and compassionate Part-Time Care Workers to support residents in care homes in London. You will assist with daily living tasks, promote independence, and deliver person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence support)
- Support with medication administration/prompts as per care plans
- Help with meals, feeding, and nutrition
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement for social/leisure activities
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes
- Assist with mobility, daily routines, and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Follow individual care plans, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills and a kind, patient approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
- Willingness to complete mandatory training (we provide full support, including manual handling, safeguarding, first aid, dementia awareness and more)
Desirable
- Previous experience in residential care, care homes, or support work (paid or voluntary)
- Valid UK driving licence (desirable for travel if needed)
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Enhanced DBS check (we will apply for one if not held)
