Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
As a Lecturer in Health and Safety, you will be delivering high quality teaching and assessment, including the application of relevant legislation, regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and guidance.
There will be a focus on hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control and enforcement decision making.
As you will be working within our Environmental Health team, you will need to ensure that delivery meets the requirements of relevant professional bodies including the CIEH, Skills England and IOSH.
You will provide tutorship of students, giving appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- A degree level qualification
- A relevant Health and Safety related qualification
- Relevant professional industry experience
- A willingness to undertake a teaching qualification if this is not already held
