Job description
The role is of a Residential Care Officer Level 1 - Childrens
We provide support for young people who are 16 and over, they are self sufficient but may need support in shopping and cooking, and spending time with staff. Staff conduct 3 x welfare checks per shift either in person or by phone, staff on duty will record when they have seen a yp what the yp have done today and what support was offered.
We do not get into conflict with the yps, there is a lone worker device, a full induction will be given to the staff , they are there as support if needed.
