EYFS Teaching Assistant – Loughborough

Location: Loughborough
Role Type: Day-to-day, Short-term & Long-term Opportunities
Sector: Mainstream Primary Schools (Foundation Stage)

Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across Foundation Years (Nursery and Reception) within mainstream primary schools across Loughborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced EYFS professionals who are passionate about early childhood development and are looking for flexible or longer-term work within supportive school environments.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS settings
• Working with individuals and small groups to promote engagement and progress
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider EYFS team

Requirements:

• Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English
• Experience working across EYFS within school settings
• A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
