Crynodeb
The Fellowship is aimed at senior trainees who are in possession of the FRCA (or equivalent) or CCT holders seeking specialised training in regional anaesthesia. The Fellowship can be adapted to support the Fellow in developing specific interests. The post is for 12 months commencing August 2026 or February 2027. The achievements of the previous Fellows include research, international level presentations, teaching, audit, introduction of new services, and excellent logbook block numbers.
Candidates must have previous experience of working as an anaesthetist in UK in addition to full GMC registration.
This Fellowship provides advanced training in regional anaesthesia, enabling the post‑holder to develop expertise in ultrasound‑guided nerve blocks and continuous catheter techniques while working towards the ESRA Diploma. The role includes hands‑on clinical practice, opportunities to teach on local training courses, and involvement in research, audit and service development projects.
