What we’re looking for in our Housing Care Manager

Our development at Pollokshaws provides a Housing Support Service, you will be required to work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your role will be to ensure the service provided meets the need of the tenants and to encourage and motivate your staff team. In addition, you will promote and support the service and build positive working relationships with colleagues in other agencies such as health care and social work.

Care & Support Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this post you must have previous management experience in the sector, be able to manage a large staff team, communicate effectively with tenants and carers and have confidence in your administration and IT skills. As an experienced care professional, you will have experience to lead and direct the staff team and be passionate about excellent customer service.

You will already have SVQ3 Health and Social Care/HNC plus PDA Health and Social Care Supervision at SCQF level 7 or have a willingness to work towards this qualification in order to comply with the registration/timescale requirements of the SSSC.
