Location: Wood Green Library
Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: 09/03/2026
End Date: Initially for a 3 month contract, extended

About the Client

The Customer Services Contact Centre plays a vital role in supporting residents, resolving queries, and ensuring a positive customer experience across a wide range of council services.
The Role
We are seeking two enthusiastic Customer Service Officers to join a busy, high‑volume contact centre environment. You will be the first point of contact for residents, handling a large number of inbound calls each day and providing clear, accurate, and professional support.
Shifts will vary between 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, or 10am–6pm depending on operational demand and staffing levels.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service to residents across a range of enquiries
Handle high call volumes with professionalism and efficiency
Resolve queries promptly or escalate appropriately
Maintain accurate records and follow internal processes
Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a positive, solution‑focused approach
Candidate Requirements
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment
Flexibility to work varying shift patterns
Genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
DBS required
