At Creating Tomorrow College, our mission is clear: to empower learners with special educational needs to gain and sustain meaningful employment. We do this by working hand in hand with employers who believe in inclusive talent and real world learning.
We’re looking for an Employer Engagement Officer to strengthen and grow those partnerships. This role is perfect for someone from education or industry - business development, employability, recruitment, HR or partnerships who wants their work to make a genuine social impact.
The role
You’ll build trusted relationships with employers across a range of sectors, creating inclusive opportunities such as work experience, placements, projects and employer-led learning. Acting as a bridge between education and industry, you’ll align employer needs with learner potential—helping shape tomorrow’s workforce.
You will:
Engage and grow a diverse network of employers
Work closely with senior leaders and campus teams
Support and deliver disability awareness and inclusion training
Represent the college at employer events and forums
Use labour market insight and CRM systems to track impact and improve practice
About you You’ll bring experience in employer engagement or partnership working, strong communication skills, confidence using digital tools, and a commitment to equality and inclusion. You’ll be organised, proactive, and motivated by learner success. A car and clean driving licence are essential (mileage paid). Why join us?
