THE ROLE
The Branding & Design Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the design function, ensuring work is delivered efficiently
and to a high standard. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business and may occasionally support wider
group initiatives or joint projects.
This role includes direct line management of a Design Executive, oversight of external design agencies, and ownership of the
creative workflow. The manager will guide the design team while actively contributing to the development and execution of the
company’s brand and creative strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Management of Design Executive and external agencies, providing creative direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality
visual assets
2. Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity, including logo, colour palette, typography, and other brand éléments.
Ensuring all design materials adhere to brand guidelines
3. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to integrate brand messaging into all marketing campaigns and materials. Collaborating
on the creation of compelling and visually appealing marketing collateral
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across various touchpoints. Ensuring brand
integrity in all interactions.
5. Design co-branded merchandising materials with 3rd parties, ensuring alignment with our brand identity.
6. Develop and manage the production of physical assets.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree level or equivalent qualification in the design field, graphic design or a related field
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Design Manager or similar role
* Strong portfolio showcasing successful branding, digital design, print design, campaign
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and delegate projects to team
efficiently
* Proven success in delivering large scale projects, managing the requirements of multiple stakeholders across multiple
departments
* Experience designing and project managing production of non-digital assets, working with print companies
* Coaching and developing the design team to deliver projects in line with the company/brand vision
* Understanding of Magento and a web development background to improve communication between development and design team
* Proven experience with Adobe suite applications, including PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and XD
* Experience in designing and building HTML5 advertising campaigns
* Good understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels
