As a Specialist SEND Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver individualised, differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Adapt curriculum content to meet diverse learning needs
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive engagement
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- Have experience within SEN settings or a strong commitment to developing in this area
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and flexibility
- Are confident managing behaviour positively and proactively
- Believe in inclusive education and pupil-centred approaches
- Roles carefully matched to your skills and experience
- Supportive consultants who truly understand the SEN sector
