Summary

I'm currently working exclusively on recruiting a for a rewarding 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity at a welcoming primary setting in the Wigan area.
This school is known for its strong ethos, inclusive values, and commitment to supporting every child as an individual. The leadership team places a real emphasis on creating a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be working closely on a 1:1 basis with a child who requires consistent, structured support throughout the school day. Therefore, proven SEND experience is essential.

Requirements:

• Has hands-on experience supporting children with special educational needs
• Is confident implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Can use positive behaviour strategies effectively
• Experience supporting children in a primary setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

This role would suit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant who understands the importance of consistency, communication, and adapting learning to meet individual needs.
