We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in B36. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire and challenge pupils in Key Stage 1, helping them reach their full potential.

The Role
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum


  • Support pupils’ learning across all subjects, with a focus on literacy and numeracy


  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN


  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment


  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders


  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers


  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies


    The Ideal Candidate
    • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Experience teaching Year 2 / KS1 pupils in a UK primary school


    • Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements


    • Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills


    • Patient, adaptable, and passionate about child-centred learning


    • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
