Crynodeb
Be responsible for the management of a group of patients, and occaisonally take charge of the ward for the duration of their shift. Be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care. Be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to. Be responsible for the support and supervision of junior staff. Be responsible for maintaining accurate, current, comprehensive and concise records concerning the condition of the patient in accordance with NMC standards for record keeping, and the UHB's patient record policy. The Health Board currently operate a number of different shift systems. The most common are a 12.5 hour shift, inclusive of either one 30 minute or two 30-minute unpaid breaks. These shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements.
