Job Title: Data Protection Administrator

Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for up to 13 months - Maternity Cover

Location: Primarily homebased with time in the office as required

Weekly Hours: 35


So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Data Protection Team within Governance at YHG. We are a well-established, busy and friendly team, looking for a new team member to support us in providing efficient and effective administrative support to our Data Protection Lead.

We are looking for someone who shares our values and has a passion for Data Protection.

What will my working week look like?

Whilst you will be homebased, living within the North West and within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, you will be required to attend meetings and training courses at our Head Office when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately once per week.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative skills in a really varied role, supporting with CCTV requests, data breach reporting and data subject access requests. Collating records, applying redactions, while maintaining a log of all requests and deadlines.

One of the great things about this role is the variety of work that comes with working in a small team and the direct interaction you will have with colleagues at all levels across the business.

In addition to having the opportunity to develop your practical experience in a wide range of activities, you will have responsibility for the oversight and administration of the data protection inbox working with time sensitive and confidential information on a daily basis.

To be a successful Data Protection Administrator, here at YHG, you will have….

• Previous administration experience

• Completed or working towards a Level 2 certificate in Data Protection

• Experience of working with tight deadlines

• Experienced in all aspects of Microsoft Office

Ideally you will be a collaborative team player who is also happy to work independently, with attention to detail.
