As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant within KS2, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2

Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Working with small groups to reinforce learning in core subjects such as English and Maths

Providing additional support to pupils who need extra guidance

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to ensure pupils are supported both academically and socially.
The successful applicant will:

Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Have recent experience working within a primary school setting
Have recent experience working within a primary school setting

Have experience supporting pupils in KS2 (upper KS2 experience desirable)
Have experience supporting pupils in KS2 (upper KS2 experience desirable)

Demonstrate a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum

Be patient, adaptable and confident working with small groups

Experience supporting pupils with SEN would be advantageous but is not essential.
