In this role, you will play a vital part in providing highquality personal and intimate care, ensuring that each learner’s dignity, comfort, and wellbeing are central to everything you do. You will work alongside a supportive staff team, contributing to a caring environment where our learners feel safe, respected, and encouraged.
Redwood aims to provide the highest quality of care, teaching, and learning to our learners and requires all our staff to work together as a part of a coherent team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily intimate and personal care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and respect at all times.
- Supporting pupils with their personal hygiene routines, offering encouragement and promoting independence wherever possible.
- Acting as a responsible adult, assisting with the supervision, safety, wellbeing, and personal care of individuals or small groups under the guidance of teaching or senior staff.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of children and young people with SEND.
