TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range

  
  

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils

  
  

• Delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment (desirable)

  
  

• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL where required

  
  

• Assisting with classroom preparation, resources and displays

  
  

• Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a safe, nurturing learning environment

  
  

• Upholding safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

  
  The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

    
    

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a UK primary school

    
    

  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

    
    

  • Experience delivering or supporting intervention programmes (desirable)

    
    

  • Confidence supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths

    
    

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    
    

  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach
