We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations
Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and scrubbers effectively
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet cleaning requirements
Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between sites
Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients and staff
Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within the team
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Driving Licence preferred but not essential
DBS Check to be undertaken
Min age 25 yrs due to insurances for Chemical handling and Key holding
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.62 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
