Bristol Grammar School is looking to appoint a part-time (0.7 FTE), temporary Teacher of Psychology from September 2026, to cover a maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly popular and thriving Psychology department which has a strong and sustained record of academic success. Working as part of a small but supportive department, the successful candidate will use their expertise to enthuse and motivate students in both academic and co-curricular activities.

Psychology is taught at A level, with students following the AQA specification, there are currently four L6th sets and three U6th sets. In addition to teaching the role holder will take responsibility for projects within the department to enhance and support the curriculum, including organising and leading day trips and visiting guest speakers.
