Summary
Super-Numery Deputy Nursery Manager role to start ASAP in Fulham
Permanent full-time Deputy Nursery Manager role at a lovely family-run nursery in Fulham. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager in all aspects of running the nursery.
Hours: 7:45am-6:30pm, 4 days per week
Salary: £36k-£40k per annum
Annual leave: 4 weeks paid leave + bank holidays. 1 additional paid day off for each year of employment up to 1 additional week. An extra day off on your birthday.

Requirements:
• Minimum Level 3/equivalent qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Previous experience as a Deputy or Manager
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding practices and the EYFS framework
• Great communication skills
As a Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Working alongside the manager to ensure excellent standards across all areas of the setting are maintained
• Building strong partnerships with parents/carers and external agencies
• Supporting the team on all aspects of safeguarding
• Keeping abreast of Ofsted requirements in regard to early years learning and ensuring these are met consistently
• Over-seeing and monitoring all children's observations and assessments
• Co-leading oversight and coaching of planning & children’s next steps based on the children’s interests
• Running regular staff meetings
• Co-leading with the Manager on staff observations
• Completion and filing of all nursery records
• Managing staff rotas and holiday
• Paperwork for new children
• Leading the process on safer recruitment and supporting the Manager with new staff inductions
