About the role

Do you want to be at the forefront of one of the world’s most ambitious sustainability initiatives?

  • Ensure correct use, care, and security of survey equipment, including daily checks and defect reporting.
  • Maintain orderly survey data, ensuring files are stored, backed up, and version‑controlled in line with project requirements.
  • Perform QA checks on design information prior to construction to verify suitability and accuracy.
  • Support site engineers and the mechanical team with information taken from design models, schedules, and drawings.
  • Carry out verification surveys at key stages to confirm dimensional compliance.
  • Complete QA documentation and comply with ITP/hold‑point checks as required.
  • Identify hazards, follow safe systems of work, deliver TBS, and raise observation cards to support a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain survey consumables and support equipment inventory management (prisms, batteries, tripods, targets, stakes, etc.).
  • Liaise with senior surveyors, discipline teams, and site personnel to understand survey requirements and deliver work to programme.
  • Carry out survey-related calculations such as clash checks, deformation/settlement analysis, and structural dimensional checks to support other disciplines.
