Clinical Responsibilities Hold a defined caseload of individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and complex needs. Provide specialist assessment, treatment planning and psycho-social interventions, including risk assessment and risk management. Deliver prescribing clinics--including Clozapine, Depot and independent NMP clinics--to support medication initiation, titration, review and monitoring. Offer expert advice on medication management to GPs, colleagues and partner agencies. Support smoking cessation initiatives and contribute to physical health monitoring as part of holistic care delivery. Leadership, Supervision & Team Support Provide specialist supervision to colleagues, trainees and other practitioners as required. Promote recovery-focused, evidence-based practice across the service. Contribute to staff wellbeing, morale and positive team culture through role modelling compassionate, collaborative practice. Support the Team Manager in achieving service objectives, quality standards and performance targets. Service Development & Governance Engage in service evaluation, quality improvement and research activities. Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of best practice guidance within the Directorate. Participate actively in Trust clinical governance structures, audits and multidisciplinary reviews. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and mental health policy. Information & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain clinical records in accordance with Trust policy, GDPR and confidentiality standards. Prepare and present clinical reports as needed, including for case conferences, tribunals or multi-agency reviews. Participate in mandatory training, professional supervision, annual appraisal and ongoing skills development. Additional Requirements Regular travel within the clinical locality; ability to drive with appropriate business insurance is essential. Ability to work flexibly and safely in a variety of community settings, sometimes in challenging or unpredictable circumstances.
