Crynodeb
FM2U Ltd is recruiting Welfare Area Cleaners to support construction companies on active building sites across the North West, including Whiston St Helens, Warrington, Preston and Greater Manchester. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic welfare facilities for site operatives, in line with health & safety and site welfare standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning and maintaining site welfare areas, including:
o Toilets and washrooms
o Canteens and kitchen areas
o Drying rooms and rest areas
o Offices, cabins, and site facilities
• Replenishing consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet roll, etc.)
• Ensuring welfare areas meet site hygiene and H&S requirements
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
• Following site rules, risk assessments, and method statements
Essential Requirements
• Valid CSCS Labourer Green Card (Essential)
• Legal Right to Work in the UK (Essential)
• Fluent in English (Essential)
• Own transport required due to multiple site locations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Training
• Full training will be provided
• No previous construction cleaning experience required
• Ongoing support and supervision from FM2U Ltd management
Physical Requirements
This is an active, physical role involving walking, standing, bending, and manual cleaning tasks. The role is suitable for both male and female operatives, and FM2U Ltd is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive working environment.
