Job Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and close out work orders within the maintenance management system.
- Print, package, and organise work orders to ensure smooth workflow.
- Plan and coordinate site shutdowns effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Utilise budget allocations efficiently to maximise equipment uptime and operational performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and other departments to schedule maintenance activities.
- Interpret technical documentation and communicate technical information clearly.
- Develop and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Utilise CMMS systems such as Maximo to track and manage maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Office tools to support maintenance planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Resident in the Highlands region, with the ability to commute to Inverness.
- Background in an engineering environment with a comprehensive understanding of engineering terms and processes.
- Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, including creating risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Experience working with CMMS systems, particularly Maximo, or similar platforms.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Driven, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance planning, health and safety, or engineering are advantageous.
