University College Birmingham are looking for a dedicated and skilled
Technician – Carpentry to support our Sustainable Construction department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in creating high quality practical learning environments for our students.
As a key member of the technical team, you will prepare and maintain workshops, support teaching staff during practical sessions, manage equipment and stock, and ensure our facilities remain safe, efficient, and inspiring.
You will have experience in carpentry within industry or in an education environment, have strong practical skills with the ability to troubleshoot faults along with a relevant Level 2 qualification and a good understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessments.
