Street Scene & Waste Operative needed in Plymouth Paying £99.45 per day ref OR23465
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out waste and recycling collections, ensuring safe handling of bins, bags and bulky items.
- Support street cleansing tasks including litter picking, sweeping, removing fly‑tipping, and emptying litter bins.
- Maintain public spaces such as streets, parks, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely (training provided where needed).
- Assist with seasonal tasks including leaf clearance and snow/ice response.
- Report environmental issues such as fly‑tipping, graffiti, or damaged street furniture.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and work as part of a wider team.
