Crynodeb
Key Functional Responsibilities: They will lead assigned portfolios of work for the ICB. The post holder will through joint working with partners and place-based teams; develop and deliver the Integrating Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation (IPMO) agenda. Working in collaboration with partners including: LTC programme leads, ICB contract, quality/performance, finance, medicines optimisation teams, NHS providers and other organisations to support the integration of the clinical and quality programmes. Lead transformation workstreams for pharmacy/medicines optimisation across the ICS. Work in collaboration with national, regional and GM to develop GM pharmacy/medicines optimisation workstreams. Work with cluster lead pharmacists and place based teams to ensure delivery of the Medicines Optimisation Strategy and Operational Plan. Support the GM Chief Pharmacist in quality and performance issues relating to pharmacy/medicines optimisation services Provide specialist advice and prepare strategic reports and briefings for directors, regional teams and stakeholders. In depth analysis, interpretation and production of complex and multiple reports. They will manage assigned members of the team and deputise for the Chief Pharmacist/Deputy Chief Pharmacist when required.
