Role: Maintenance Improvement Engineer
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £45,000

Role Overview:
To strengthen the maintenance team by ensuring that as a business we are compliant to all current legislations plus deliver maintenance projects.
Responsibilities:
• Project coordinator for Maintenance related Projects and improvement initiatives.
• Maintenance planning and coordination of improvement projects, larger and more complex CMMS requests/maintenance activities etc.
• Energy Centre, Boilers & Steam System Compliance.
• Ensure compliance adherence with Lifting Equipment, LEV, Pressure systems, process water, Racking, etc. Key aspect to ensure inspections are completed on time plus defects and recommendations are actioned and documented using the Remedial Tracking System within set timescales.
• Contractor management and control as required.
• Risk assessments – Responsible for keeping up to date ensuring all recommendations are closed off.
• Ensure H&S regulations & procedures are always adhered to.
• Fully support the Maintenance Management team and delivery of the departmental strategy and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Identify, drive and support Continuous Improvement and Reliability initiatives.
• Improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time between Failures (MTBF).
• Development of compliance procedures (SOP’s)
Requirements:
• Contractor management inclusive of safety requirements (PTW, Risk Assessments, Insurance etc.)
• Computer Literate preferably with Computerised Maintenance Manufacturing Systems (CMMS)
• Planning & Scheduling
• A Technical / Engineering Background.
• PC Literate with good abilities in all MS Office Packages.
• Experience of using and implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) tools.
