Summary

Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEN – 1:3 Support)

Location: Primary School, Bilston
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Full-time, term time)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term

Smile Education is currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:3 basis supporting three SEN pupils within a welcoming Primary School in Bilston.
This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a classroom setting.

The Role:

Providing tailored 1:3 support to three pupils with Special Educational Needs
Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management where required

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Has experience working with SEN children, ideally in a primary setting
Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
