Pay: £105-£115 per day
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact within a primary school setting?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to support pupils with additional needs across Early Years and Key Stage 1. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team focused on ensuring every child can thrive.

In this position, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

Adapt learning activities to meet individual academic and emotional needs

Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and parents to implement EHCP targets

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

Has previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary setting

Is confident supporting children with autism, speech and language needs, or SEMH

Demonstrates strong communication skills and works effectively as part of a team

All applicants will require a valid DBS and two professional references to be considered for a trial day.

This role is easily commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Kingstanding, Perry Barr, Great Barr, Walsall, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, and surrounding North Birmingham areas.
