Our client, an established firm known for delivering exceptional financial support and guidance to their customers, is looking for a qualified Audit Manager to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
The Audit Manager will play a key role in managing and delivering audit assignments efficiently, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of client service. This role can be based at either the Coventry or Nuneaton office. Salary circa £55k plus doe plus company benefits and flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan audits and identify key risk areas
Manage the audit process, including on-site teams
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
Meet client deadlines and maintain budgets
Report audit progress to the directors
Attend final audit review meetings with directors and clients
Supervise and manage the audit team
Review the audit team’s work to ensure quality and accuracy
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CA)
Experience managing and supervising a team
Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date with the latest auditing and reporting standards
Ability to work closely with Partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, confidential, and takes ownership of their role
Able to manage budgets and meet deadlines
