Family Support Worker – Oxford
£17.50 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Family Support Worker to provide personal care and practical support for a young person with complex needs in their home in Oxford. This role requires a calm, patient, and nurturing individual who can create a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with daily routines, including personal care and mobility support, while promoting dignity, respect, and independence wherever possible.
You will work closely alongside the young person’s primary carer to ensure their needs are fully met, while also offering reassurance, companionship, and emotional support.
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you should have experience supporting individuals with complex needs, particularly those with:
• Visual impairments
• Mobility difficulties
• Non-verbal communication
You must be confident working independently, flexible in your approach, and able to remain calm and patient at all times.
Benefits
• £17.50 per hour
• Ongoing bookings available Monday to Friday (mornings and evenings)
