Summary

bout the Role
We are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our Supported Living team in Walsall, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs to live independently in their own homes.
You will support individuals with daily living tasks, promote independence, and help them achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting service users with daily living activities
• Promoting independence, choice, and person-centred care
• Providing emotional and practical support
• Supporting with medication administration
• Encouraging community engagement and social activities
• Supporting with budgeting, shopping, and appointments
• Maintaining accurate daily records and reports
• Following care plans and risk assessments
• Ensuring safeguarding and safety at all times

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health needs
• Caring, patient, and reliable nature
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable Requirements
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Experience working in supported living services
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge
