Mitie is seeking an accomplished Divisional Commercial Director to guide the commercial direction of our Technical Services division. This influential role sits at the centre of the division's leadership team, supporting the development of commercial strategy, strengthening governance, and enabling sustainable long‑term growth. The OpportunityIn this role, you will shape and deliver the division's commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and the evolving market. Key Areas of FocusCommercial Strategy & Growth
-Shape and deliver the commercial strategy for the Technical Services division.
-Assess markets, explore opportunities and design commercially sustainable models.
-Support improved commercial processes and decision‑making.
Contract & Risk Management
-Oversee negotiation, review and management of client and supplier contracts.
-Ensure contracts are compliant, commercially sound and deliverable.
-Manage commercial risks, variations, disputes and renewals effectively.
Financial Leadership
-Support improvements in margin, cost control and overall financial performance.
-Lead accurate budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.
-Provide clear commercial insight to enable informed decision‑making.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
-Act as a key commercial partner to the Technical Services Managing Director and senior leadership team.
-Build constructive relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
-Ensure commercial considerations are embedded in operational practice.
Leadership & Commercial Capability
-Coach colleagues to build commercial skills and confidence.
-Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration and learning.
-Champion commercial maturity across the division.
Business Development & Bidding
-Guide the development of bids, proposals and commercial submissions.
-Evaluate opportunities for alignment and commercial viability.
-Support pricing, value propositions and deal shaping for new and existing work.

You will bring sound knowledge of contract law, commercial governance and financial analysis, alongside the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and across operational teams.
