Process Development Technologist – Fixed-Term Contract

We have a new opportunity to join The Compleat Food Group as a Process Development Technologist in our NPD team, covering
maternity leave on a 12 month contract!

Location: Middlesbrough, TS6 6BJ

With operations across two manufacturing sites and one distribution location, Middlesbrough is the home of party food producing
bhajis, samosas, onion rings, and spring rolls!

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 17:00

Contract: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract

Purpose: Support in the delivery of New and Existing Product Development across site, in the transferring of products from concept
approval handover to launch, aligned with the Compleat product launch process and critical path.

Your Duties Will Include:

* Supporting the execution of product trials and launches, focusing on implementation into the factory.
* Understanding the chilled fried pastry category area of processes and kit within the factory
* Organising and executing trials and launches in line with critical path including liaison with key stakeholders at site and
central teams.
* Scheduling and ordering the delivery and assessment of materials to agreed quality parameters.
* Accountability for post-trial documentation and product panels.
* Completing required paperwork pre- and post-trial including nutritional data, micro data, factory specifications and
organoleptic.
* Supporting continuous improvement of quality agenda.
* Raising relevant purchase orders required and logging on tracker.
* Supporting with customer samples, trial feedback and benchmarking panels.




Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

* Entry-level experience in food manufacturing, HACCP basics, food safety understanding and keen to grow.
* HND/Degree in food-based subject (desirable).
* Enthusiasm
